The IIT Bombay-Honeywell Centre of Excellence for Future Skills & Innovation (IHCFSI) has been established to build future-ready capabilities in sustainability through an integrated approach to learning, research, and innovation.
Developed under Honeywell India’s flagship skilling initiative, Saksham, the Centre reflects a shared commitment to strengthening the talent, knowledge, and implementation capacity needed to respond to emerging sustainability challenges.
By combining academic learning with applied research, the Centre supports work in areas such as sustainability assessment, water and sanitation, energy security, sustainable finance, and policy advocacy.
It is envisioned as a platform where knowledge can move into practice-supporting real-world adoption, nurturing skilled professionals, and contributing meaningfully to India’s sustainability transition.

Research Interests: Environmental impact framework for rural areas, state of environment studies, field assessments and remediation, matrix characterization, and climate change.

Research Interests: Thermal energy systems, solar thermal energy, power cycles, refrigeration and heat pump systems, and energy sustainability.
Research Interests: Water supply, wastewater management, climate change mitigation, sustainability assessment, and circular economy.
